The Circuit Welcome Service for our new minister, Revd Yanyan Case, was hosted by Biddulph Methodist Church. The singing was full and tremendous, the warmth of the welcome tangible, and the message preached by Revd Helen Kirk our District Chair was exceptional.
Following the service, refreshments were served in the Hall and it was full, the happy chatter going on for some time while Yanyan began to get to know the members of her churches, Biddulph, Hill Top, Mow Cop & New Road.
The service was well supported by those from other churches across the circuit and welcomes were give by Town Mayor, Cllr Ken Harper and Cheryl the Mayoress, plus the Rev Will Drain from St Lawrence’s, who represented Biddulph Churches Together.
