In one way it is sad that our numbers for memory café are increasing, we welcomed another two new people last time, but what a blessing for those families that they are able to come and enjoy a morning at our Church, chatting, laughing and using their skills around activities. In the initial weeks of opening Memory café, Dean, with the help of Kevin and his fantastic skill and machinery for making items from wood, made large sized dominoes, a noughts and crosses game and a bagatelle. Surprisingly, the bagatelle did not prove to be that popular but last week, we brought it again, wow! It was very popular creating much fun and challenges for the highest score – bagatelle will definitely be coming out again this week!
