Mondays

MHA – except bank holidays. Contact Liz on 01782 816662 for more details.

11am - 12 noon Movers and shakers £4.00

12.30 - 2pm  Lunch (hot 2 course meal) and social time £6.00 

(£5.00 if you also attend Movers and Shakers) Open to everyone over 55. Come to one, all day or any combination.

Everyone Health 1-4pm Exercise class (by invitation)

Machine Sewing Group – 7 - 9pm. £4 per week (paid monthly).

A community sewing group that is open to everyone - beginners learn to sew and more advanced enhance your skills. • upcycling/recycling • basic alterations and repairs • understand patterns • create textile projects • share skills and ideas • tips and tricks • make new friends. Biddulph and District Genealogy and Historical Society – 7 - 9pm. (3rd wk of month)

The Society has regular monthly meetings with guest speakers on the third Monday of the month (except in July and August). The talks are followed by tea and coffee. New members are always welcome and admission is £3 but free for members of the Society.

Daybreak Day Opportunities – 10am - 3pm

Service for people aged 50 and over providing building based day care to support the physical and mental wellbeing of our users. Breakfast and a two course lunch  is served and refreshments offered throughout the day.

LINC – 2-3.30pm on the first and third Tuesday of the month

This free peer support group is for those whose ‘Loved ones are IN Care’. The aim of the group is to encourage those whose loved ones are in care, to work through their emotions and experiences and to create a ‘safe space’ for them to share with others who are on the same journey. Hopefully individuals who attend will build supportive friendships and build coping strategies to enable them to live happy and healthy lives themselves whilst their loved ones are being cared for in  a ‘community’ setting.For more information please contact Lynn on 07776166990

Film Club – 2pm on the second Tuesday of the month. Entry is FREE and will include tea and coffee. Come along and see a great film suitable for all. Everyone welcome. Ice creams available  at 75p each.

Biddulph Yarnbarms – 6.30 - 8.30pm  Biddulph Yarnbarms is a community group of  craft enthusiasts with a penchant for working  with yarn to create public artworks. We meet  every Tuesday to work on joint projects and  create items to sell at local craft fairs. Do come and join us! Look ‘Biddulph Yarnbarms’ up on Facebook or contact: Sue Garvey on 07961 093332.

Wednesdays

Dementia Support Group – 10am - 12pm

Approach have partnered with Stoke City Football Club Community Trust and Biddulph Methodist Church to deliver support for people with dementia. Sessions enable people with dementia and their carers to come together to socialise and participate in fun, engaging activities.

Gentle Chair Based Exercise Group – 2.30 - 4pm £3 per class.

This gentle activity is open to people aged 50 plus and of all abilities. Your first session is FREE so why not give it a go? Followed by tea/coffee and chat.  Contact Sheila on 07884 931795 for more details.

Craft Club – 7 - 9pm

Come and learn some new crafts or develop your own skills. A friendly group  with visiting demonstrators. Just turn up to have a go or for more information.

Kingsfield Singers – 7.30 - 9pm

Thursdays

Flower Arrangers 9:30-11:30am a talented and friendly group creating beautiful floral displays.

Dementia Voices – 2 - 3.30pm (fortnightly) FREE sessions in partnership with Approach for those living with and /or caring for individuals with dementia.

Refreshments, light-hearted music quiz and singing well known ‘familiar’ songs. Contact Lynn on 07776 166990 for more details.

Community Gospel Singers – 7 - 8.30pm 

Come and have fun, make new friends and feel part of the community.  FREE, no auditions, no need to read music, friendly, informal atmosphere and no pressure to join in performances, unless you want to!

Biddulph & District Community Orchestra – 7.30 - 9pm (term time only) Come along and join the BDCO. £20 per term (discounts for more than 1 member from the same family).

Morning Worship 10:45am, followed by refreshments
