At the last Memory Cafe, it was lovely to see that they were joined by two youngsters who chose to come and be part of the morning; we know that talking to, and doing activities with young people brings much pleasure to many of our Memory Café but obviously, some youngsters enjoy it too so school holidays are an ideal opportunity. Jacob, 18 years of age, who some will know from Keep Singing, forsook his long teenage lie in! he enjoyed being a waiter as well as chatting. A new lady, who seemingly had to be persuaded to come along to Memory Café, joined us, and she loved her morning and will come again – she will come again to do another jigsaw as long as Isla, Dorothy’s granddaughter, will be there!
