Farewell Traidcraft   Traidcraft logo

Sadly, as many of you will know, TRAIDCRAFT plc has gone into administration after 40 years of selling goods made by some of the poorest people in the world.

However, the good news is that TRAIDCRAFT EXCHANGE, now renamed TRANSFORM TRADE, is still working in the field.

As a registered charity it is urgently in need of funds.

Thank you to everyone who has supported my work for TRAIDCRAFT for the past 22 years!

[From an article in Contact magazine by Judith Talbot]

Please continue to support the work of TRANSFORM TRADE whenever you can.

Transform Trade

TRANSFORM TRADE is a global community of farmers, workers, collectives, campaigners, donors and supporters.  We work together for trade that values people over profit.

Right now, corporate greed and destruction still dominate the world of trade.  But there is another way to do business.  It’s called people-centred trade.

Kindle a flame of sacred love in our hearts

kindle a flame with rev nic [Connexion magazine]As the cost of living crisis rages, how might we set ablaze a Wesleyan flame of social justice in people’s hearts?  Paul Morrison and Deacon Eunice Attwood share their thoughts in the edition of Connexion magazine for Winter 2023.

You will find Rev Nic on the front page and a great article from her inside.

The magazine is available here or you can pick up a copy from Church.  We will try and ensure there is a copy in each of our churches to pass around. Well done Nic.  What a witness!
