As well as making the Circuit 
Home page look different, brighter and easier to use, two key aims of the changes are to put a greater emphasis on the individual churches, whilst gathering the inform-ation that applies across all the churches (Preaching Plan, Yvonne's pastoral letters etc) into a separate package of Circuit-Wide information. Other aims are to cut down the size of the site and to put some less used material that's been retained, into the page 'footer', where it is less distracting from the core information.
On the Home page as you see it today, highlighting Activities at Christmas is a special situation of course. At other times this space is intended to be taken by a link to the Photo Gallery, showing Church Life in Pictures. This positioning means that it is coupled with Select a Church.
For the moment, the only impact on the church pages is the revised, blue menu bar and, during the coming days, the new page-footer will also appear.
