We believe Churches and other faith communities have a key role to play in shaping the outcomes of COP26:

  • Influencing the UK Government and the wider public
  • Helping shape public debate and ambition and mobilising churches to speak prophetically for climate justice
  • Bringing the voices of those directly impacted by climate change to wider public attention by calling on the churches' unique network of local and global connections

The Circuit Superintendent, Reverend Yvonne Pearson, led a service focusing on what we can do individually to start to make a difference.  Her own challenge was to use less paper!  We were invited to build boats to symbolise our support.
