pin for notice 51x63

Starter Kit to 'Pin' a new Item
on to the Circuit Noticeboard

If you want to advertise something that will be happening at a particular date/time, you should record it in the EVENT system.

If you want to publicise other information people should be aware of but which is not about something that will happen at a particular date/time, you should 'pin' a new Notice on the Circuit Noticeboard to describe what you want to report.

Examples of Notices might be to publicise a new foodbank, a Street Pastors initiative, support for Ukrainian refugees, an ecumenical agreement, a job advertisement etc.

To make use of this Article as a Starter Kit,

  • follow this link,
  • copy the text you see there, which is the HTML for the page you are now looking at
  • start the Article editor to create your own new Article,
  • switch the Article Editor to HTML view,
  • paste the text into your new Article while in HTML view,
  • then switch your Article back to 'Normal' view.

Then you will have something you can chop around as much as you please to create a new Article laid out like a pinned piece of paper and using the text format used here.

Type the text of your new Notice on top of the text of the template, replacing it.  If you delete the old text first you'll lose the text formatting instructions.

To create new paragraphs which still maintain the format of this text, you will need to press the ENTER key while the cursor is within the body of the existing text, e.g. immediately before the last character.
